Wednesday Morning Club Style Group Training
Lost Highway Kennels 502 McGee Rd, Winston Salem, NC, United StatesClub style training days are for clients developing gundogs for hunt tests, field trials, or general hunting work. We'll start with advanced dogs and work our way through to the least experienced. Max 10 dog/handler teams. Hours 8am - Noon. Fall #1; Saturday Group Bird Dog Class (Flushers and Pointers Welcome)
Fall Class #1; Intro to bird dog training lecture and basic obedience. Saturday classes will run in chronological order through the milestones necessary to develop a confident, competent upland hunting companion. There will be a series of four classes (Oct 7th and 23rd, Nov 11th and 25th) Max 10 dog/handler teams. Cost: $50 per session plus training birds (market price) Beginners (dogs 6mos and up): 8am - 10am Topics Covered: confidence building, basic obedience, bird intro, collar conditioning, gun intro, pigeon and launcher intro, intro to pinch collar and check cord Intermediate: 10am -noon Topics Covered: check cord and launcher work, stop/hup
